When a Nuxt site is the right build

Marketing sites and Vue apps that need a real codebase, and when a page builder is still the better call.

Nuxt is for a site or app you expect to keep building: custom pages, a dashboard, a headless CMS, or a front end talking to an API. It is not a nicer way to paste together a five-page brochure.

When a Nuxt site is the right build

What you are buying

A Nuxt site is Vue components, TypeScript, and a repo. Marketing pages can still be fast and structured for search. An app or an internal dashboard is the same stack with accounts, data, and screens that match the work.

Integrations — a headless CMS, Supabase, a storefront API — are wired in on purpose. They are not a plugin someone clicked during a trial.

When to choose something else

Choose WordPress when editors need a familiar admin and the site is mostly pages. Choose Webflow when the marketing site should stay in a visual CMS and the team will publish there. Choose Shopify when the product catalog is the product.

Choose Nuxt when those tools would fight the thing you are actually shipping, or when you are leaving one of them and need the codebase in your hands.

Handoff

The repository, hosting, and domain should land on your accounts, with a walkthrough. A staged URL you can click is how you review the work before that transfer.

That build is Nuxt / Vue. After it is live, new screens and fixes can sit on a plan instead of a fresh quote every time.
